How to get involved
The Friends of the Harte Trail is local community association ran by volunteers who love nature, the Harte Trail and their community. Our mission is to look after this piece of nature and history in our backyard, in hope that many more can discover and enjoy the benefits of this hidden gem in the heart of Winnipeg, where to exercise or practice sustainable transportation.
As an association we advocate with the City Council in favour of the Harte Trail’s maintenance
and improvements as well as organizing cleaning and tree planting initiatives.
Whether you would like to volunteer, become a member or support us with a donation, we welcome your contribution - we need all the help you can give in which way works best for you. As the community grows, so grow the needs of the Trail and therefore our need for support.
We are grateful to all who have contributed so far, and to all will do so in the future.

PS - We are currently investigating the process of becoming a charitable organization,
registered with the CRA. We will keep you posted.
